This stupid homefront banner!!!

Geesh man! I spend a lot of time on this forum during the day. It's the only website that's open on my laptop the whole day here at work, even if it's just chilling in the background. But this Homefront banner with the chicks on is making it REALLY hard to have this site open at work because at a glance it really looks like some sort of porn add - and that makes other people think that this site is dodgy.

C'mon - please- get the naked chicks off this site? I'm at work!!!!

The issue for me is that the chicks really look like they've been "cropped" from a porn website. Anyone walking past my desk won't, even for a second, think that it's some sort of computer game - they'll just assume what the pics suggest - PR0NZORZ

Sooooo annoying.
 
ABP, how i solved it. if i want to have porn ill surf porn at home, not so nice for work as NEO pointed out.
 
If you are one of the lucky few to have an advanced device that controls the cursor on your screen, you should notice a little 'wheel' between the left and the right button. I'll leave the rest up to you...

Sometimes your "clever" comments are really moronic. If you're going to imitate a stuck-up version of Frasier Crane, at least think about the stuff you post before clicking the "post" button. Your previous comment lends to the idea that you're one of those people that tries way too hard to be clever - and still fails in the attempt.

Simply scrolling down is not the answer. I have a high resolution monitor, so the banner is there even when I scroll all the way down. You're trying to treat symptoms and not the actual problem.
 
If you are using Firefox, install Adblock Plus. It's blocking the ad for me. I had to disable it to see what it was you were talking about.

Let me fix that for you: If you are using Firefox or chrome, install Adblock+ :) I hate teh mygaming and mybroadband fail ads. They break teh browser quite a lot :/

Oooh, pushed one of your many obtrusive buttons, did I? If you don't want them pushed, pay more attention to concealing them. And while you're at it, look into a very effective calmative technique called "lighten up".

Congrats on your high resolution monitor, I'm sure my comments are even more annoying in HD.

Back to treating the problem at hand. If the banner is getting you into trouble at work, get some masking tape. I'll leave the rest up to you...
 
Lol, now that you've alerted me to the fact, it does look a little dodgy at first glance. Scrolling is all good and well, but every time you open a new page there it is again. Means it pops up pretty often.

Some of us aren't allowed to browse as we please during work time, however, so no harm done :D During breaks no one really cares!

Lol, I checked the link, knowing that the game does not have half nekkid Girls Running around, and its a BT Games site, no mention of the game HomeFront (Damn! xD) just the BT Games Homepage.

So now I ask, why the hell did BT Games make that ad? Cos its definitely not part of the Game Marketing Material (hopefully!.)
