im studying LLB(Law) and accounting as a 1st year subject is mandatory as apparantly candidate attorneys and new attorneys dont have a clue how to run their books or how to hire someone to do it for them.....

Same here...I was talking to 1 of my friends the other night and she's like..Is that the tv in the background and i said yes..She goes dude...I can't even remember the last time i saw you watching tv.
 
Ja i the boss tells me everyday that i will just have to learn it, but me not wanting to do accounting is very overwelming and i just cannot over ride that function at the moment.....

Depends where you're doing it. I did my LLB at RAU/UJ, and we didn't need to do it. Also, legal accounting differs from normal accounting (auditors hate auditing law firms).

It's weird how what you study for and what you end up doing differs so greatly.

I studied control systems etc. in low current electrical engineering...programming micro controllers, that sort of thing ... now I work for a consulting company in an engineering position where I design hospitals / automatic generator installations etc. All heavy current 3-phase stuff :confused::confused:

I often wish I could just be a perlemoen diver :(

Im in IT, I studied for IT... funny how i'm in a similar sort of company (engineering consulting)
 
good thing that study has found that eggs aren't actually bad for you ......... coz with all this egg talk I'm gonna have to have eggs for lunch too :D Mebbe fried eggs on a potato cake wif a piece of ham and a hollandaise *drool*

Apart from a friend of mine once giving me a peri peri chicken wing to try, I've never had nando's before.

The thought has just never occurred to me to order from Nandos. Is that strange?
