He was a spoiled little brat and his parents bought him more toys than he could ever play with...

He had ALL the pirate / space / dark ages lego ... even that cool lego shark...

He even had an array of friggen Dino-riders in his bedroom AND he had that handheld gameboy tv-game thing with only one game on - the Ninja Turtles one as well as that racing one.

Don't get me started on his golden china tv game collection. We had to buy our own with our pocket money... Any idea how long it takes a 10yr old to save R100? So yes, we pretty much only had Double Dragon and a 24-in-1 for most of the time.

Yeah, that must be rather hectique :(

Does the BF know that you're planning on having a father-in-law?
uhm.....he should know that by now

We were always too poor to afford lego, so my parents bought us Duplo and said it's basically the same thing. It's NOT! You can't even choke on Duplo it's so huge!

Lol we had both and my mother made sure that each of us kids had the exact same amount so that we cant fight. every sunday night she would count them and divide everything between us....

looooooooooooool

Ag is orrait oke...jy't 'n excuse. Jy kon nie in die straat speel nie.

I always played in the street. I had to ride 2km to school & back each day on my BMX when I was 6. Can't do that these days anymore.

Luckily we also live close to the beach, so we spent most of our time in the water or exploring the bushes above the sand dunes & building forts (tree houses)

Wow its rather cheery here in the TK this friday morning. Im depro also. My gurl is flying to france for 3 weeks tomorrow.... on the upside i kicked ass in waw last night.

Uhm... nee...... maar as hy eendag a man of leisure/ house man wil wees as ek klaar geswot het sal hy 1 moet koop ;)

Is ur geek a comitmaphobe? That ring is the most useless thing a man will ever buy. It costs a fortune and u can't do jack with it...

Morning guyz

@Voicy - 3.2 will fsck up WoW...Blizz are doing their schitte again

3.2 ? ANOTHER Patch ?!?!?!!!!111oneoneeleven

You know, I've stopped bothering to update my addons. I play by feel now & watch my timers on my buff-list & boss's debuffs (which is hard as hell to follow, but nou ja.)

You got a link to the changes?

Morning Oculate. I don't follow WoW. why do u say this new update will fsk it up?

There are a lot of things in the patch 3.2 test realm notes that jumped out at me, but the changes to the Emblem system seem like an especially big deal. The developers made it quite clear that they wanted a tiered token system in Wrath of the Lich King, they didn't want players just farming Heroics all day and night to get the best possible gear. In patch 3.2, it looks like they're backing off on that pretty heavily, likely an attempt to reignite interest in running Heroics. If you haven't seen the patch notes, here are the points I'm referring to:

* Any dungeons that previously dropped Emblems of Heroism or Valor, such as Naxxramas or Heroic Halls of Stone, will now drop Emblems of Conquest instead. Emblems of Conquest can still be converted to Valor or Heroism.
* Both the 10 and 25 player instances of the Crusaders' Coliseum drop a new Emblem of Triumph.
* The heroic dungeon daily quest will now reward 2 Emblems of Triumph and the normal daily dungeon quest will reward 1 Emblem of Triumph.
* The existing achievements to collect 1, 25, 50, etc. Emblems of Heroism, Valor, and Conquest have been converted to Feats of Strength since Heroism and Valor Emblems are no longer attainable.

So taking all of this into consideration, a player could theoretically get 4 pieces of Tier 8 gear without ever setting foot into Ulduar, simply by grinding out Heroics and getting a couple of lucky drops from Emalon. To get the Tier 8 hat and gloves, you would need a combined total of 116 badges. At roughly four badges per Heroic, that's just shy of 30 Heroics. That sounds like a lot, but when you take into consideration how people got their gear in The Burning Crusade, it really sort of... isn't a lot at all. This is a big step away from what the developers stated they want to do, but as I said, I imagine it's a change made in the interest of encouraging people to continue running Heroics.

Be a bigger noob who can't play running around in shiny T8. Skip Naxx, skip OS, skip Maly - straight into Ulduar!
