Just finished formatting, reinstalling, updating and cursing SU's computer. My SU is possibly the only person alive with the innate ability to fuck a computer up to the point where it works perfectly for everything, except it refuses to load games.

Fable, Evil Genius, Guild Wars, you name it, none of them load, the furthest one got was Evil Genius which managed to get to "Loading" but the progress bar wouldn't budge.

I tried everything from removing drivers, reinstalling drivers, maiming codecs, purging and reinstalling DirectX... virus scan, malware scan, hdd consistency check... Nothing helped, so I formatted. Everything's perfect yet again

*sigh* Formatting is so exhausting though... Well, not the formatting... The mass updating and reinstalling of a thousand things and then of course having to copy 60 gigs of backed up rubbish back over... Aaargh...

Eh well, I guess I'm not really complaining... I mostly enjoy it It's a guilty pleasure.

What about you? And wtf... It's only 23:15! The night's still young! ... Mostly...

I've only ever formatted twice myself ...... and I agree, it's the updating and reinstalling of apps that is the killer, lol
