I have to say I have some respect for certain metro's on our roads.
I was driving towards clearwater mall about 2 weeks ago..Travelling 111kmh
in a 60 zone, cop pulled me over..and we had a nice chat and he said he didn't catch my exact speed, so he gave me R100 fine. I know I was travelling 111km/h and so did he.
I take my hat off to you Mr metro, for saving me quite alot of money!!

My mate got a R5000 fine for doing 120 in a 60 zone.

remember the new law. 20KM/H over the speed limit, R60 fine, R40KPH over speed limit, appear in court/hefty fine.

damn thats nice rofl..... I wish there were more Metros out there like that.... i guess he obviously knew what it was like in his day lol...

I dont drive fast on the roads anymore to many close encounters.

So I stick to the speedlimit +60

LOOOOOOL!

there is a piece of road leaving from our townhouse complex connecting one area to another, in the city, around 700M long.

I used to do topend runs there and max my car out, hit limiter in 5th, then drive slowly to the shop from there

I loved driving insanely fast..but it all changed after my accident in 2004..wich wasn't even my fault.
So the only time i'll be speeding is in the early hours when there aren't other people on the road.

I did that with the mustang down northrand road,then i'd turn into trichardt and drive 60..I always got funny looks when i did that!!:D
