lol... People will always buy junk - it's something called a mix of "I don't care," " I need to burn my hand more than once to realise that the plate is hot," "Hope" and, finally, "Hubris" :)

Nothing you can do about it, so no point frustrating yourself over it. Let others screw up - their screw-ups don't affect you. And it's like someone who, I apologise, but for the life of me I can't remember, said - there will just be another uber l33t FPS that will take its place amongst other gamers.

No use crying over spilt milk. What's done is done and all that's left now is to sit back and watch it play out. By not buying it, you've cast your vote. That's all you really can do. The sheeple have to make their own mistakes to learn from them. As does every new generation of gamers.

That would be wise words, but the thing, there screw-ups DO effect us, they keep buying the ultra high GFX games, and not the ones that have actualy had effort put into them, and those good games start dying out.

And "some other Über l33t FPF" will never be as good as what MW2 could have been if it werent for those console fuck-twats.

I never buy top of the range stuff.

What I was going to say, unfortunately "we" don't drive the market, but otherwise well said

I blame anyone and everyone who bought any console that came out after the PS1. If i had my way they would get cacti up penerial/vaginal canals.

See, this is where the line between black and white becomes blurred. Gamers are gamers. You get those of us who play games purely because we have a love for gaming and you get those who play games as a "hobby" and something to just pass the time when they can't go outside. I think it's fairly easy to tell which is which.

Pinning casual gamers on consoles isn't the most prudent thing someone can do, since consoles have some awesome games that never make it to PC as well, and if you want to play them, you need a console. That's just the cruel fact of life. In an ideal world (the world we seem to be sliding into) we'd all be allowed to play games on whatever system we'd want. I'd always choose my PC :)

I love JRPGs and a couple of other console games, but I no longer own a console. Yet, I would love to have one again...

Anyway, when I say that it doesn't affect us, it's because it doesn't. CoD-lovers have lost their favourite game and, for all intensive purposes, I believe MW2 will be the beginning of the downward spiral for the series. It happens. Then newer, better, more innovative games come along and try to improve on those games to win over their previous fanbase. It's just how it all works.

When Piranha Bytes lost the rights to develop the Gothic series, my heart broke. To me, Gothic is dead. Gothic 4 (Arcania) makes a mockery of the series and I will not buy it when it gets released. However, Risen, Piranha Bytes' new IP, is brilliant, and Gothic lives on in it. And in some ways, I prefer it.

Sometimes things have to die, for newer, stronger life, innovation and ideas to be created and born. It's the way of life, it's the way of business and it's the way of the gaming industry.

It's why we cling onto the things we love, fight for the things we believe in and look forward to next week, next month, next year and the continued evolution and development of things we adore. Beautiful games like Planescape and Baldur's Gate (to me), are in the past, and they will forever be remembered by me, but that doesn't mean that games like that are dead, or that there will never be a game that will ever compare or improve on them.

We gamers are a pretty tenacious bunch... :)

I still say there are too many people on earth. at the least 50% of everyone don't deserve to live. Or at the very least breed.

I still keep saying. Red Alert 3 was damn good, it felt and played suprisingly alot like RA1 and 2. but when uprising came out and was download exclusive. EA showed it's lazy money hungry anus again.

Random, but yes. The problem is ethics and freedom. You cannot tell someone they have to die, or that they may or may not breed.

I believe Sweden used to castrate/sterilise people who were found guilty of murder, sex crimes, etc to try and kill off their genes. China has a law of only one child per family. If you have more than one child, you pay a mother of a fine. If you're too poor and/or impoverished and cannot pay the fine, you lose your grants, government support and, basically starve to death.

China's methods are cruel, but they control the populous, they make certain that those who can have children, are able to take care of them. It's fair. And if you cannot care for your child, you pretty much die with it.

African mentality is that the more kids, the better. Starvation and sucking dry of your resources and economy FTW.

Nazi There needs to be another world war. :D I like the idea that people who are usleless should be killed

*mumbles* Do you want me to write a frikkin' essay here? You've pushed three buttons in a row so far :p

EA is one of the worst publishers in the world, so far. They've sucked the life and money out of pretty much everything they've touched so far. Look at what they're doing with Dragon Age - they're milking the fans dry to the bone. "Zomg, if you go to this site and play this cheap, tacky but moderately enjoyable game, you can get more free DLC in-game items!"

They're fucking killing it.

BioWare is one of the last really prestigious, innovative and creative developers out there... And watch, it's only a matter of time until EA smother them...

War doesn't only kill the "useless." It kills everyone. Children, men, women - everyone who gets in the way of a bullet, shell or missile. War is disgusting, as are those who are proud of wars.

Hey I hate human kind. All we seem to do is destroy this wonderfull planet.

Not every one is bad though but there are to many people who just dont care about any one or anything and only care for money
