methinks the rules on that comp should be tweaked a little .......... 1) exclude the spammers and 2) make it a scary avatar only, do away with gory/gruesome ...... gory/gruesome is too easy and not scary.
 
Agreed.......scary and or disturbing. If we were entering sigs., it could even be a sentence which provokes unsettling or challenging thoughts.
 
Yes, forgot to include disturbing ........ I laugh at gore and gruesomeness more than I'm freaked out by it. But let a movie or whatever be disturbing and I find myself holding mah breath ....... love it :D
 
I'd say that stories in plausible settings with ordinary people can be more grightening than Attack of the Mutant Killer Tomatoes from 20 000 Fathoms:Director's Cut.

Yeah I make out, although even the far fetched ones have entertainment value for me. It's just that stuff like that scene from Pet Semetary where the dad injects the kid tends to disturb me and have me thinking about it for a while.
 
Pet Semetary? One of the few movies I could not watch to the end.
The book doesn't pull any punches either.

Yeh it was kinda freaky when i was a kidlet. Especially the dad bonking the chick who turns into a wolf :(

And yeh cabooze i remember rotten dot com from back when i was in school i loved checking those pics out hehehehehehe :D
