The guild started out nicely, but I feel it's waaay below what Felicia Day is actually worth. Her performance in Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog & Buffy was way better than this C-grade acting she's stuck with.

I guess it's just a hobby for her anyway.

The Guild to me sounds like their running out of idea's. If you think the entire thins is like self and fan funded its doing quiet well. Sometime i think they take stereotype gamer too far. Then again i think its hard to build characters and story if the ep is only 8 minutes long. Not a bad show its just missing something.

Yeah, the stereotyping is a bit over the top. Zaboo irritates me. So does everyone except the chinese girl and Vork I suppose. The dialog is also a bit *meh*.

Do yourself a favour and watch Dr Horrible's Sing along Blog. It's also done very cheaply, but bloody well!

Ill have a look. I like Vork but even he is a bit over the top. Its a common problem in American Comedy. It has to be over the top, Big Bang Theory was once exception to this. Funny with out being too. Yes Sheldon is Too Weird but im sure you get people like that.
 
I enjoy The Guild, reminds me quite a bit of my old WoW guild :p I do catch all the references made I guess, which adds humor

Most geeks get the references, and i agree it is a good show but season 3 isn't entertaining me the way 1 & 2 did. Its like there is something missing. And you have to agree that their stereotyping does border on the "Guild Members Might be Escaping psyche patients" line of thinking. "Just finished making a website dedicated to Codex's toes..." I mean god you have to be a very special kind of fucked up to do something like that.

That said some of the dialog is pretty original and the show has alot more potential if only it didn't have to go over the top to try and be funny.
