So that was emotionally draining. One of my receptionists, the new one, is depressed and suicidal. Gr8 way to start a monday.

yeah thats one of the reasons, he family isn't suporting her. He ex, who's daughter she is raising, beat her up in july and is now busy with court case. Its fucking tragic and all i can do is say "yes, ok, i understand" where part of me actually wished she would just commit suicide and get it over with, would solve alot of my problems. Personally i hope she decides to move back to Mosselbay.

Yeah well compasion isn't one of my most noted features. I want to understand but as i dont struggle with that sorta thing all i see is some sorry for her self chic who moans and looks for the easy way out. At the end of the day my clinic is struggling because she is hardly ever here and we hired her coz we needed a second receptionist. All i see is weakness and well, survival of the fittest. If u can't take the heat...

Do however take note that i told her the suicide is not the way out and that she should think about the people she would leave behind.

Exactly ..... you don't struggle with it. The people who never have struggled with it or even experienced it in a loved one, have no idea of the magnitude it can be. Yes, there are people who are just too emo and use it as an attention tool, but they are in the minority.

My brother is bi-polar, his ex is trying to take his kid, who we've been raising for the last 7 months, away. I know exactly what she's going through. Only diff... i dont let it control my life. If the world beats you down, get back up coz nobody is going to help you. What i meant by i dont struggle with that sorta thing is that though i get stressed i handle it much better than other people. Im like a stress sponge or something. Plus i have loads of violent video games to take my frustrations out on.
