Yeh if only they could give one of us control over those threads so that we could delete the one post wonders that dont follow rules then it would make things so much easier...

All the usuals are. I mean most of them, the noobs, dont even make an effort to get more posts. With 80% of that thread flooded due to newbie BS the chances in a real MyG member winning is less and less with each one.

I think we should take this up with the Mods. I dont have a PS3 so im not bothered about winning, but Isn't the idea of the site to get more Active users not just registered users?
 
I'm with Fenix on that last statement ...... it's not about oh-noes-I-haz-less-chance-now it's about site integrity .... and these sods don't add to that at all.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Anybody noticed how are active users dropped down by a hundred since we didn't have comps running the last 2 weeks?

Besides - how else are we going to draw bigger numbers to the site? This isn't a social club, it's a national gaming forum. :)

We can't expect Tincan and RustBucket to keep the site going just for 20 of us...

But the thing is its not drawing bigger numbers, well maybe for the duration of the comp then they all fade into oblivion and leaves maybe 1 or 2. Shouldn't they join the site to discuss gaming on the national gaming forum and not just for the comps? Honestly how many of the 1 post wonders last beyond the comps?
