Well I had the same problem with my audio once...Fixed it by pulling the sound jack just a little bit out of the port. The bombing thing I don't know shit about though.

Ah ok, no I checked to see if it was that ..... tried different speakers and tried the front audio port too and same problem. I'm beginning to think it's software related because 1) a restart solves it for a while and 2) the PC seems to go under a heavy load when it happens.

Gpu I doubt it because even listening to just music does it and there's no Gpu usage there.

MH i had that as well a couple weeks ago I ended up reinstalling windows as I reckon its Service pack 3 thats causing the issue... I am now back on SP2 and I havnt found any issues regarding this problem... I hope it helps... maybe just downgrade from SP3 back to SP2 and see if that works...

I fokken had a feeling it was that donderse SP3 ......... was it the exact same issue Syco? Jittery audio in videos and music until a restart? And htf does one 'downgrade' back to SP3 anyway?

You can not downgrade from SP3 to SP2 Trust me I know too well.

well you can downgrade from uninstalling it in the add and remove programs place
and yeh my PC eventually started freezing on its own by like for split second intervals.... it would freeze split second later it would work then it would freeze again after 2 seconds.... but ja thats what im sayin i reckon its SP3 causing it...- Status
