Hey M_H....how the hell did you get so many bottlecaps....I've got PLENTY of stuff to sell but the vendors barely have a handful of bottlecaps.

dont worry about the bottle caps, just play the game as normal and you will be able to make caps quickly.
1 Tip - hoard Pre-war books. :D
 
ok, for the vendors there's a trick sort of ....... buy stuff from them, it gives them caps, when you come back later and sell stuff, they'll have more caps for some reason. Then, for more caps, do the Reilly's Rangers quest and get her to give you the Geomapper ... that wy, every location you find will earn you caps. Another big big earner is the Pre-War Books that you must never sell to anyone other than the Scribe at Arlington Library ..... vendors will offer about 7 caps per book while the scribe offers 100 caps per book ;)

Dont sell - repair instead.

Just buy ammo you will need for your favourite weapons:
The 10mm sub machine gun
Combat shotgun
Xualong Machine Gun
Hand Grenades
 
Yeah I do repair the weapons to max before I sell them. Actually on the other hand I can't see why I would need thousands of bottlecaps since I already purchased everything I could think of (House, All Items for house, theme) and I've got about 228 Stimpaks...lol
 
open the console my pressing ~ then type in, player.additem F 900000 , and u should get a whole load of bottle caps
 
lol, I've also currently got about 250 Stims :D .... I will take a load of repaired weapons to a trader, take all their stims for the weapons ..... doesn't cost anything that way ;)

Wait, why not just skip now and get to the ending! :rolleyes: :p

i started using them when i came along a glitch that wouldn't let me pass so i used the non solid player cheat and so it began.i don't use cheats anymore since i get mods now.
