Wizard's First Rule put me off Terry Goodkind.

/Walks in and beats the stuffing out of a pillow.
Walks out to go and shoot stuffs in the....errrr.....burn bits off necromorphs.

Wanders back in covered in the residue of local downloads and unidentified [for a good reason] bits.

Gtalk and Messenger Live are all very well, what I really want is IM software I can use to chat using local bandwidth.
 
Nooooooo! Don't look too closely. It is unidentified for a good reason: nobody WANTS to know what the origin of the crispy bit is.

Dixie: Terry Goodkind is a writer of fantasy. I found certain parts of his book. "Wizard's first rule" too....um.....icky for my liking.
