I am not inclined to be critical of this brave first time author though.

I cannot write for toffee.

I think the most I ever managed at school was a page and a bit and that contained no dialogue.

I sometimes dream up fragments of stories, but lack to ability to do anything more with these.

So yup, I take my hat off to this fledgling writer.

So tell me abit about the story, what is it? Sci-fi, Fantasy, Adventure. Is it at least coherent? I love stories where the scene is well described.

Lool. Sounds like you've had a few nightmares in your time.

I remember a dream i had, worst one ever. Was sneaking around and some village girl stumbled onto my hiding spot and (in my dream) i was forced to kill her. Was too real for my liking. One of the few times ive woken up with a jolt coz of a dream.
 
It is, in a word, incoherent.

There is some idea of a "cosmic egg" which is damaged at the beginning of time by some young being in an accident which sees the blinding or death of another. This results in some wrong which must be righted. The young being is incarnated as a human but does not know who he really is or what he has to do. Much is hidden.


In another, some great hero in the standard fantasy type setting goes on a quest to find something which will help to defeat the forces of evil. He overthrows that evil only to become a greater evil.

I too have had dreams in which I have done some quite reprehsible things.

Once I was an enormous shark gliding through through the water and leaping in the air for great distances while devouring humans.

As I said, my ideas are incoherent.

Those are two seperate fragments.

When I was in Standard 6, I wrote something about an alien which was killed by falling into a glass of water which it mistook for an acid which was a popular drink on its home world. :o
 
lol I am seldom entirely human in my dreams.

Last night I was some humanoid alien who was getting to grips with piloting his mech and launching from some sort of space carrier. I spent a lot of time with my breathing apparatus. :D
 
Im strangely tired also. Was up till the wee hours of this morning playing CoD with the guyz. Guess it could be that, also fell asleep on the sofa this afternoon while watching Die Hard 4.
