I played quite a bit of Silent Hill Homecoming now. Pretty awesome! It's got a couple of bugs though which can get annoying at times but the game itself is good enough to make the bugs seem insignificant.

I can see why it got both good and bad reviews though. I guess it's either your type of game or it's not.

Well I was a SH fan from the get go so it would be a shame to miss one now

Yeah I reckon it's worth getting. I'm finding it better than both 3 and 4. 3 was the worst in the series so far I reckon, whereas 4 didn't feel like a Silent Hill game. So even though I haven't finished Homecoming yet I would rate the games in this order:

2,1,5,4,3
