yeah, his sis of 21kgs

he was so dazed. rubbing all over his head, screaming, etc. at first I only saw the graze on the forehead. saw the red line (turning blue) on his cheek after I got him calmed down. I am now watching him to make sure there's not some other underlying problem like concussion....

he is awfully quiet now...
 
yeah, I am sure we all gave our parents the same kinda fright when we were little.

I loved climbing trees. Once I fell out of the very top of the tree. didn't even have a scratch, and just climbed back in the tree
 
lil ook fell off a chair (whilst standing) right onto the wooden table foot. (last year sometime). His eyebrow was swollen instantly, and blue. took him to emergency room to make sure nothing was cracked. luckily not. but he still has the line on his eyebrow (faint, but visible)
 
lol yeah, it's very echo-like :D Will have to now cut off the lounge stairs .... because there are about 8 of them and if he's at the top of that ..... :eek:

Are you one of those mums who rushes to the ER everytime a toe is bumped?

As my mom is/has always been a nurse she hardly ever took us to a Dr let alone ER. As a result back in 05 when in the uk i got a key stuck in my finger after it was thrown to me, it hit the bone, took out key (had hot chic help as i was shaky) and stuck a plaster over it. Healed up just fine.

nope, I am not. But that time it looked really bad.

In actual fact, one of my previous employers always moaned at me. Because I tell the kids the first time round if they do something dangerous not to do it, and why they shouldn't. the second time I give them a warning only, saying no. the third time I leave them to fall.

We've got plasters at home that I bought at the beginning of the year, hardly used still. I believe kids shouldn't grow up with no all the time when they want to explore. (I am not talking about playing with fire, electricity, etc. That's just a no, and if they don't listen, they get smack on their hand)
