my mate from when we played football together gave me a free haircut and all that with a head massage.... was awesome... worked out to be around R350 haircut so got a sweet deal outta that :p

R350 for a haircut:eek: No ways. I could waste that money on a more constructive way. I just have my mom cut my hair. Its Free:cool:

we're lucky enough to go away this weekend (ok, not far) with m-i-l for a weekend getaway...

Yeh well my haircut was also free.... and it was done by a professional :p my mate owns the franchise so he just says i can go through there whenever i want :p

ag well end of the month is like 3 or 4 days away :) then its party like rock stars.... :p or is ur cash going towards the renovations??? btw how are those going??? is ur kitchen coming right???
 
sheesh syco, you seem to know ppl in all places. I cut hubby's hair (and kids). and get hubby to trim my ends every once in a while (which often tends to be skew...but no-one notices, as my hair is usually tied up anyways)

Well its not what u know in JHB its all about who you know :D i dont let any of my family touch my hair when it comes to cutting it.... my mother screwed up my hair so badly one yr i ended up going to hostel looking like an Soldier with a buzz cut i was not impressed... :rolleyes:

about 1/4 of the way. we first pay all accounts, then buy food, put money aside for petrol and if there's any left, we get more tiles.

I will take new pics of kitchen and upload during the day
 
You know i try being positive about Red mother but im losing it with that woman. Last night she tells Red she can't have the wedding till Nov 2010 as non of her family can come down from france before then. This morning she says no She cant do it in Nov either coz of her sisters xams. I mean WTF! I was under the impression we get married when and where WE not when or where ANYBODY else want. Isn't getting engaged suppose to be like a happy time or something?

Wenz your a gurl, i would expect your hair to be expensive. But for guyz its differnt. I use to pay 12 pound while in the UK. That was alot, i only cut my hair once in like 3 months.

I can just imagine it. Short hair is more difficult to cut into styles if you don't know how.

Luckily Libs prefers his hair shaved...he would even have it shaved on no1, but I won't. He looks like an escaped convict. In summer it is usually 2 or 3. Winter I use my fingers to cut it all off on the same length
 
I fell asleep once while this hairdressing in Lemming Spa cut my hair. I worked night shift and was tired plus she didn't talk to me.

yeah, it is. the only compromise we made was to have ours at the end of the month (some ppl that needed to have cash to come up for our wedding). But besides that, I think it is a load of hogwash she is giving you. Just tell her: this is the date, and final. If they can't make it, tough.

This just sounds like another plot to keep you guys from getting married. Just be firm, and don't give in. No compromise at all. That way she will get the message. Be prepared to know this procedure will be repeated a couple of times. And everytime just tell her that you've already decided on the date and venue, and it is NOT NEGOTIONABLE.

Don't give in after a few times of her nagging, because it will set a precedent. She would be able to use it against you in the future.
