The restaurant closed down.There was still a small take-away outlet some time ago, but I don't know whether it is still extant.
Voicy may know.

Other places in East London which claim to serve Chinese cuisine are Chi-Chi in Berea and Shanghai in Beacon Bay.

Did you go up to the look out point at Steenbras dam. You have to do that. Clear view over False bay and Helderberg mountains.

You could try a drive to Paarl then down to Franschoek and over the Franschoek pass and on to Teewaterskloof dam. The pass was lovely.
