I have spoken to my brother about the PC thing.

He doesn;t think it would be that practical. He thinks that a laptop would be a better idea.
 
Er....I am the one who would be paying....if I decide that I want to go ahead with this. The furthest I can go is an ASUS eee 701 though.

He says there isn't anywhere in the house where we could set up a machine for her and that having to have it near a telephone connection [for adsl] may not be practical.

Perhaps I can think of some other way to do something for her.

People can be strange....the same person who pretty much ignored me for the past few weeks made a point of stopping to ask me how my leave went and to have a look at what I was reading.

Inconsistent.
 
On the other paw.....who knows what may have been going on in that person's life and what might have been on their mind. Perhaps I take things too persoanlly or am inclined to be paranoid.
 
Aaargh....I cannot find the bluetooth plugin thingy for my PC and I need it so that I can get to the picture my brother MMS-ed to my cellphone yesterday. Cannot view such large [228kb] images on my cell.
