A friend asked me tonight...she has a 90% full PVR and the kids wants to record cartoons...
She constantly have to delete some of her stuff to make room for the kids recordings...

We want to copy stuffs from the existing HD and watch on PC...

I think it involves having a TV Card on teh PC and using like S-Video cables or some such ......

That makes sense...It seems that you have to press play on the PVR and Record on the PC, so transferring a movie will take real time then...

yeah and real space too because of that real time recording .... so make sure they haz a moerse size one
