Well now that Afrihost have switched to the MTN Backbone it sounds like folks are a lot happier with their line speeds.
im using axxess at work and even the news server is working alot better

We use the WA uncapped home plan 4mb, to be honest so far I havent had any issues with their throttling, especially since they changed the policy and its a lot better than it used to be. Only reason why we have their package is because we used to be on one of their specials and our line is with them, they have been very good at helping us out when we had syncing issues - Telkom wasnt going to send a techie in 4 weeks, after a week on the phone, WA organised it all and we had a techie at the house just 2 days after that. They are good at helping and sorting stuff out.
We used to be on axxess before that but that was just a nightmare.
The thing is WA is expensive compared to other packages. But to change now would be madness since it took 6 months convince the parentals to change to uncapped

pretty damn good, i have what i refer to as my emergency capped account (whenever telkom is down) with them and i have never had a problem even when you call their tech support they answer in 2 minutes compared to telkom where you have to wait 2 hours

I actually had a better experience getting my line from telkom
with mweb I had to wait up to 20 working days to get a circuit. went to telkom the friday, had my circuit that following monday

Haven't had any issues. I have 2 websites and domains hosted with them, never had any real issues.
There is also a rep on MyBB that is quick to help if you are having any problems.
Remember they have just moved over to the MTN backbone which has made a massive difference. No more slow IS BS.
