Well you & Spooner died when trying to get Civilians out and one of these motherfuckers came out of no where.

As it turns out naming your XCOM soldier after people you know is a bad idea, especially when you get to watch them ripped apart by a Chrysalid.

At least most of you survived a few missions, Syco bought it on his first mission.

Its awesome. I decided to restart after I got an entire squad of 6 killed (Thats when Adamz, Eekboi and Murphzor bought it). Second time round im doing better. Haven't lost any members of the council yet (Mass Panic in India though) and haven't lost a Solider in about 4 or 5 mission (touch wood).

The game it awesome but brutal if you miscalculate. Like in my first try I spent way too much time keeping the head researcher happy and not enough time building up gear for my soldiers or getting satellite up in to cover more of the globe. Now that I have a squad of 4 high level vets all armed with Laser weapons and improved body armor I clean house. I have an Iraqy Sniper that takes out a Muton (Walking tank like thing) on a overwatch (inbetween turn reaction shot) and another on his actual turn.

I may retry creating a TK Squad in future.

You missed 2 vital shots and then got flanked and took a plasma bolt to the chest. Wasted a damn fine Laser Rifle and Carapace armor on you. Knew I should not have equipped a rookie with the latest gear.

hahahahaha... well you shouldn't have just thrown me directly into direct fire with a laser rifle, I'm clearly meant to be a distance shooter :rolleyes:

Yeah...seems it went very wrong! People are complaining like crazy about it and requesting a refund.

This was a distance shot, both times. Next time I will make you a sniper and see if thats any better.

At the end of the day it was I, the commander, who got all of you killed. Was quiet traumatic actually. Had to stop and play Dishonored for a bit to recover.

I must say I was very impressed with the organisation on Saturday. They really did their homework before hand.
