Oh and I just spent an hour cleaning and going over my fish tank's filter with a fine tooth comb, I got home last night with water on my desk, quickly drained the tank into my spare one, caught the fish and so on and moved them over, tested the tank - its not the tank that is leaking.

Noticed a HUGE puddle of water under my temp tank and realised it is the filter leaking. Turned it off and it stopped leaking. So I cant find where it was leaking from but it seems that a cleaning of the impeller and so forth have resolved the issue,
