@Dohc, never had a problem with Nedbank, actually quite happy with them. Only pay like R65 a month for my account and get free swipes and draws etc.

i pay about R120 with fnb also fre swipes and draws but i generally get R150 back in ebucks

i have had the account for 7 years now and this is the second time im having such schitte with them

That sucks dude. Its funny how its the same bank, but some people are fine and others get the short end of the stick.

I am lucky though, I have a dedicated account manager that helps me and the wife, he looks after the wifes business account, anything goes wrong I just phone him.
 
Heh Dohc I feel the same way about ABSA - they pushed my fees up from R99 to R150 in the last 3 months with no warning.

Im going to change over to FNB as soon as my last debit order goes off this month. They are offering me a much better deal

like i said generally i earn more ebucks then my bank fees charge me !

best move I ever made. at one stage absa was charging me almost R400 in bank charges. so I switched to fnb, closed the account with absa. when they asked me why I'm closing the account I told them it's because of ridiculous fees. the irony to end it all, I had to pay absa R65 to close the account :wtf:

I changed three weeks ago. Do it, it is really easy. Just one more debit order that I need to go swop manually (they want ID) that I need to go sort out then I am closing my Standard Bank account. Was a little late for changing it this month...lazy, lazy Avenged.
