Pure guess but possibly a firewall on your PC that is slowing traffic ?

Which windows? Because the default in windows 7 was kak copy speeds. I had to install teracopy.
 
Ooh the bf is at a work function tonight, so i can just go home and not have to cook and can play gw2 the whole night :d

I jsut did the upgrade i think this is the first Windows i have owned legitimately but at first its very different the more i play with it defiantly enjoying it !

Our company can't upgrade since we beta test for this other company on their financial software, and plus I didn't like Windows 8 Beta it just looked kak to me :rolleyes:

Basically in most windows if you try copy 1 thing then go to somethign else and try copy while the other copy is still busy at the same time you will see the time required for both shoots up stupidly high as it tries to copy both at the same time a copy handler when you copy multiple thigns it jsut ques them up so it copies one at a time and you can pause copeis etc windows when you select 2 or more things to copy it ques them and you can pause the others

honestly when i first upgraded i was like wtf is this shizzle no start button and the metro style start was just awful but the more i play the more i enjoy it

for e.g. there is a built in skydrive where i can host docs pics etc and basically i can go to any other Windows 8 PC log in with my microsoft acc and all my settigns and thigns will apply to that PC and that skydrive will eb accesible
