yeah she had 4 months "paid" shmaternity , during which she still got her 1.25 leave per month (fuck knows how that works). then she comes back, but she can start 30min later and leave 30min earlier every day.... till the kid is 1 year old....Had to ? wow can i has her job ? 5 months leave a year !!!

no its up to your company to decide how it works. for instance my company says you can take maternity leave but its unpaid. you have to claim it back form UIF. unless you have enough leave days to cover your entire period of maternity(and sick leave doesnt count towards maternity leave) also men are allowed to take 1 months maternity leave in the first month after the baby is bornDoesnt law stipulate 1 month maternity leave ?
