Okay, I've been single for a year with a specific mindset; no active looking for partners, if I find one, awesome, but I have a strong enough character to enjoy single life. Anyway, recently I decided I may want to start dating, now the problem is, the number of women I'm interested in (who just may be interested in me as well), is a bit overwhelming

IMHO i think you should keep that mindset dont actively look just have fun with life doesnt mean you cant start dating but dont do it like a checklist rather keep going out and if you meet a chick you like then think about dating her and givign things a try IMHO

I definitely get that, the overwhelming thing is I've met at least 2 chicks I like... I guess, getting to know them better will make things easier.
