yeah but this TK thread basically means that people without any work can simply sit all day and spam without contributing anything meaningful to the forum :cry:

Hey! Meaningful stuff does happen in here. Mister44 would have watched Bruce Springsteen on a DVD from Nelspruit if we didn't set him right with Park-'n-Ride instructions in here. :D

I understand your line of thought, but in honesty, what makes what happens in TK less worthy than say the Image of the day or What are you listening to or any other thread for that matter?
 
i had to actually create an Outlook filter to reroute the TK subscribed emails to another folder, coz it was clogging up my inbox :eek:

Just a tad.

And to answer your question - it all comes down to what perceived value the thread adds to the forum. And yes, that value is subjective, which makes banning it questionable (not because of the slippery slope you described :p ). For me, the most important part of this is that no one is prevented from participating in this thread, so if they don't participate, it's their own damn fault.
