Hi Wyv. At least your tablet is not as dead as a mossie like mine...just thinking of the lost crops waiting on my farm makes me sad...
 
yeah, if you don't look at the underlying costs and analyze the NET profit, you are (potentially) committing fiscal suicide

Let alone the fact that it's easy to trump up revenue (and hence, net profit) in certain periods to present a misleading perception of the financial state of the company.

Indeed. At the very least have a decent look at the Income Statement and the Balance Sheet. And look at the equity position the company finds itself in. It's so damn risky to go on turnover alone

my father in law was looking at buying a Mochacho's and the figures he was initial provided were "PROJECTED". they where dodgily "projecting" monthly earnings of about 100k! when he insisted on the ACTUAL earnings, they were closer to 30k (net)
