We call it "the guild of coders" unofficially. They see unregistered programmers in very serious light cause they take contracts from members. Of course they can't do anything officially if somebody codes without a union card except put pressure on the company employing them, but unofficially kneecaps have mysteriously been smashed on a few occasions.

LOL. Then its a good thing this is just something I do for myself in my spare time. At the moment just playing around with something for a work project.

As long as you don't make money from it, there is nothing to worry about.

We are actually looking at mass action soon because of wage negotiations gone sour. A strike is unlikely, but a go-slow is a strong possibility. That would mean all programmers will type with only two fingers until our demands are met. Special medical coverage for carpal tunnel being nonnegotiable.
