JRPG ? i need it for the story i loved FFXIII story and gameplay wasnt an overly massive fan of FXIII - 2 but still want lightning returns to continue the story I have ended 7 8 9 10 10 -2 13 13 -2

To each their own. I'm fan of the series up until X-2. I LOVE all of them I finished 3(Japanese 3 not US) to X-2 then sort of lost interest as their mechanics changed. XIII however I just did not like at all. Lightening has the personality of wall paper paste, but the story for the first two is apparently good enough to carry it. XIII - 3 is a HEAVILY timed game which would put me off immediately.

I enjoyed both the previous ones but I just couldn't get into Lightning Returns for this very reason.
