Makes perfect sense to me. Especially if the new name sounds funny or the acronym is a naughty word.
 
OH AND the Ginger boss has phone twice already to see if we are answering the phones with the new name... i have worked here for 7 years and is so used to the other name i sometimes even answer my own phone with the company name... now he expects us to just swop over just like that...
