Fair enough. And there are few things that are quite as nice as a brand new car.

One word of advice: If you buy new and it is at all possible, keep that car for MANY MANY years. Rather buy a second car when you feel the need for new wheels. The reasoning is that it is useful to have a second vehicle and since you'll be the only person who ever drove it, you'll know that it's been looked after. You may even get married and your wife may need a vehicle of her own.
