No. Trees can't laugh because they're made of wood, bark, leaves and sap.
It therefore doesn't have the same make up as a mammal, and therefore it wouldn't be able to laugh due it's inability to show emotion.
They also have no eyes, so if a fat lady did fall, they wouldn't see it.

so do they get hurt then when she falls on their roots?

Listen if you want my professional opinion (I didn't spend time studying to become a scientician for nothing), I need all the facts. Are these the trees from Lord of the Rings?

Soft human skin would not harm the thick bark of a tree, and as a botanicalist, I'm sure of that.

Lol, I watched Blue Bloods yesterday and there was a serial killer killing people with gas guzzling jeeps and he was using 'green ammo' it contained no lead.
