i will go have a gander on there now. and then there is now the matter of my medical expenses for my ankle... i almost had a heart attack when i had to get pre-autherisation for an MRI. there is a co-payment of R1500. plus i had pay up fron tto see the specialist which was R650(which i can claim back) and when i went for the Sonar 2weeks back that was also R650 i had to pay cash(which i can also claim back). and then there is the matter of some physio sessions that the medical aid did not cover last year which ads up to R900. i am officially flat broke now...

Aggenee Wenzie, it is madness...

What did the doc have to say tho?
its the specialist who is sending me for the MRI to see exactly what is wrong. he saying it doenst look like a joint issue and is probably the ligaments but he says cause the sonar was so inconclusive he want s to do the MRI to make sure exactly what is wrong.

Jeez...sounds like what's happening in our house. A few months ago, my dog broke it's paw. Then she got an eye infection. Something between R5800 and R7500 later.

ja these thing always tends to pile up doesnt it. its crazy i tell you. atleast i can order my text books through our company and then i can pay them back a bit later... so that helps a lot otherwise my credit card is going to take a beating this month

Wenzie, Its horribly expensive, but if the MRI shows its the ligaments and not the joint - will be an easier and cheaper operation to fix it as well as shorter recovery time.
