^ @ mister those cars actually go for in that price range, maintaining it is a mofo though, our neighbour had a 924 which looks the same and he had for less than 2 months and sold it off again

I have no idea about Fiats. Never had one and doesn't anybody that does.
You are in Cape Town, right?

Checking a few online dealers, it seems that your options for sub R50,000 if you want a car that has less than 100k on the clock are VW Citi Golf, Ford Fiesta, Tata Indica or a few Fiat models.

Or go for something completely way out like that Porsche or this:

Great conversation starter, may not be that nice when you have to find parts for it, though.
Don't worry or be afraid to use the net as a resource to look for a car. Just be very careful if you go for a private sale. But that holds true if you go buy an Autotrader as well. Here's some sites I've used when searching for a car:

You'll see some cars on all these sites, but it is useful to check them all.

I'm not surprised to hear that, actually.
I had a girlfriend many moons ago that left me for a guy that drove one of those. She actually told me that she thinks he'd be a better provider since he drives a Porsche :rolleyes:
I need to buy that guy a beer if I see him again. :D

I am commiserating those stuck at the asshole of the world when the Rand is lying just south of R15 to the pound. Could it have been like this when I was there 4 weeks ago.

It goes. Halfday tomorrow as we are going for the second Scan, and will be finding out the sex of the baby. So that all good. Work is busy but productive so that good, I have forgotten what it feels like to not love my job.

Otherwise everything is good, weather could be better but hey.

You sound a lot happier I have to admit sir, it's a great thing that you are so happy and comfortable in your work. One day I hope I can say that as well :P

Im guessing you both are excited to find out tomorrow if its a boy or girl? Then at least the gifts and toys can be more specific :P Please just if its a girl dont overdo the girly stuff!

The rand is not dropping behind, it's merely making room to come charging with a decent run-up.

Yep, alot happier. Amazing was a decent job and a comfortable life can do to a man's disposition. Though the being "happier" could have alot to do with the Baby.

Yeah we are, both hoping for a girl. Dont worry about overdoing girly stuff, my official stance is "More Warrior Princess than Disney Princess".

i don't know if they nuked the the difficulty on Inferno, but farking hell it's really easier. Maybe a buddy run will pose more of a challenge.
