Had my in laws over for a braai. Great meal. Loads of great salads and plenty of meat. Ribs (pork & lamb). Chicken kebabs and drum sticks. Lamb chops. Wors.

What I did today:
Had BBQ chicken, 'taters, peas and sweet corn for lunch. Then watched "Downton Abbey" and "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" with missus. Finished off the afternoon with my neighbor and I inspecting a mysterious hole the size of a tennis ball that appeared in the middle of the road.

What I intended to do today:
File the missus and my own tax return, hang the new blinds I bought for my study, delete some linux distros that I already installed from the portables and fix the brakes on Kid 44's bike.
 
Never turns out like you plan it in your head. Today was supposed to be planting some herbs, vegges and flower seedlings. Got the seedlings but when the in laws arrived all that got shelved.

You remind me that I must still do my tax returns. When is the deadline?

Deadline dates:

Tax Season 2013 starts from 1 July 2013.
The deadline for taxpayers, who submit their tax returns manually by post or by dropping them off in a SARS drop box, is 27 September 2013.
The deadline for all non-provisional taxpayers is 22 November 2013. Non-provisional taxpayers are the majority of employed individuals who submit a tax return and who earn an income from one or more employer
The deadline for Provisional taxpayers is 31 January 2014. Provisional taxpayers form a much smaller segment of the tax base and are those individuals with other forms of income like investment income, income from business activities, rental income, royalties income or directors of companies

So Cape Town, how is it living there? There is about a 90% chance that I'll be moving there from Pretoria at the end of the year, and I'm freaking out
