Med Lemon and wrap up to sweat the kak out and then Strepsils for the hot throat and I take a lot of Suncodin (like every 3 hours) ..... usually gone within 3 days max
 
Was going to 'Job-shadow' until Friday, but... I injured my back today (nothing major), but I definitely feel it when bending or standing up.
Think I'll call it quits on Thursday instead. Don't want to further injure myself.
 
Got a guildy who's buddy is paralyzed because he ddi too many years of hardcore graft. Sometimes, some people just aren't built/cut out for certain jobs, just a fact of life. We acknowledge it and move along. No shame in that imo

Yeah, I don't want to harm myself just in order to have a job or experience, for that matter. That simply won't work.

Preferably something in IT.

Haven't quite figured out exactly. Have to look at what's on offer at the different institutions.

Trouble is - I haven't properly figured out exactly what I want to do as a career; something to do with computers, preferably.

Maybe I end up doing something completely different and properly enjoy it.
 
Yeah, I was very bright eyed about IT in some way or form back in the day but then I met people who were in the biz and it kinda put me off after hearing all their kak, lol. Did a lot of Data Capture shit years ago and did it well (and enjoyed it some) so I have that and the baking, even if the baking thing is very very lax ...... it's a lazy thing mkay :D

Rather go with the gut and earn a little less and be happy in the long run is my take on it all

I love being in the IT/IS industry

Data capturing aka BIS is my drug love it so much wish I could find a full time job instead of once a week.
 
At it's best I was earning 9k a week for 3 days work at home and at some other point R50k a month at the office. Sigh, I miss that type of shit.
 
First it was stuff I did for my Mom's boss when his company majorly downsized and then went into a partnership using the clients from that foray ....... late 90's man, good times for everything.
