then why did you even enter? you basically robbed some other gamer here (like Dee) that would have jumped at the chance to go to that launch and meet some of the people from this community

Ek weet. Voel alklaar soos an ass okay! I chickened out last last minute. I even told Syco yesterday I'm coming alone. And this morning was ek spyt gewees ekt nie gegan nie!

As a gamer you don't care what other people think, you just do and you be yourself. One chick on her own dressed up like a goth and was casually walking around watching the guys playing pool etc...

Gamers are the least judgmental people in the world because we interact with each other on such a regular basis that people don't care what we say or do outside in the real world. :rolleyes:

Ja well that I didn't know. I've never interacted with gamers before except for on a forum. But i'll probably never know if i don't do it hey... Oh well shit happens. I'm sad I didn't go now and can't change that.

I could've made a new goth friend... :p

Can anyone tell me what's with people who decide to cross the road in front of traffic? I mean, this morning, cars were stopped at a light and a group of people were staring at the traffic (not at a pedestrian crossing, mind), trying to decide whether to cross. I shit you not, they looked for 10 or 15 seconds, then as the light went green, decided to amble across (not run across, noooo, we're faaar too stupid and dignified to run).

Then they get all upset when I accelerate hard at them.

Stupid people. Jeez.

rAge is around the corner and that's where we have the best excuses to get away from family and responsibilities to chat and have fun together as a community in real life. That's why every year I organize a gathering for after rAge for people to meet up somewhere for a couple drinks.

I think rAge will break the ice for me. I'm really looking forward to that. Will be my first year ever and I have enough time to prepare myself (and my disguise) to meet MyG members and other member of the gaming community. I think the launch just happened to fast for me.
