ok so a friend of mine gave me a psu for free (antec smartpower 500 modular) he claimed the exhaust fan is busted and doesnt spin, i go on google and find out that its a feature of the psu that the exhaust fan only comes on when the temps get hot, technically there's nothing wrong with the psu apart from some swollen caps which i replaced !
