Does anyone here know what the cost is to buy/implement an Asset Management system/database/application into an organization???

I've looked all over the net and can't find answers. Please guys if you know, share.

Only just saw this now. One of our company's software products is an extensive Asset Management system, I know the licencing can range from R700K to R5m depending on agreements and so forth.

Well it's quite alot of data, especially with hardware.
To be used in a university. I need to know how how much it would cost(estimate).

Shew. Tough to give an even vaguely accurate estimate without a ton more info. Do you absolutely have to have an estimate now, or can you go through a tender process to establish a best-price offer?

Don't ever stop being awesome.
i hope i never will. i love these muffins they are just to die for but they are so damned scarce. did you see the Peanut butter chocolate cake i shared on Facebook? i am planning on baking one after payday

The only way to get prices to is contact the companies and ask for quotes...sigh.
I just need an estimate on what it would cost.

Well, you've had two estimates. R0 to R1.2mil, and R700k to R5mil.

How do these things work though. Do you still need someone disciplined enough to enter the details of whatever asset is bought? Or do the expensive systems somehow integrate into other stuff?

Murph, thanks for saturday, was good fun.

Wenzie ekke bring vir jou chocolate rage toe ;p

A rough summary of how our system works:

On one end you have the assets, broken down into categories and subcategories.
On the other end you have employees and locations/branches, who handle the assets (this exists to track things shifts and where the assets are at a given time).

Note: Barcode and biometric scanning is a the helm of most of the processes.

That's only a rough summary of the core functionality, since there's also location and employee auditing, etc...

i would like to thank the Dipshit that created uplay for being a F@CKIN Retard
