Does anyone know if there is a name for people who registers on a site, creates one thread asking a pointless question, and then never even returns to see the responses?

Boy, time flies.
You are know into what is known as the final try-mester. Not to be confused with the third trimester. In the final try-mester, you should not even try to disagree with anything your wife says. You should also try to get as much sleep as possible and try to do the things you love (games, movies, your wife) one final time while you still have the energy for it.
