I had a quick play around with a Kalahari Gobii wifi tablet. Wow.
The e-readers are cheap, plastic crap (at least the first gen ones were) but the tablet is brilliant. The look and feel reminds me of my Nexus 7" (and the specs are pretty similar). If you are in the market for a cheap Android tablet, this could be exactly what you want.
