This one "senior" software developer worked for us for two years. He quit about 6 months ago and I'm still trying to fix everything that he broke.

Some days I want to just phone him up and say he's a doos.

Something like that happened to me a few years ago, too. I was training a guy to do what I do, so that I have a helping hand around the office. In the end, he screwed up so badly that I spent 4 months fixing all the issues that he created before he left.

Be GENTLE!

Started out as a mock review to see if I can do it. I was asked to review a current game I was playing. That game was Diablo 3.

I'll be honest with you. It's not the worst review I've read, but there are a few things you should note.

1. Your review reads more like a blog post than a comprehensive appraisal of the game, because a reader will be not be able to form an opinion based on your review. Your conclusion states that you enjoyed, which is all good and well, but I don't necessarily know why you enjoyed (or in a parallel universe, hated it) the game. By that I mean, what exactly did you enjoy about the game? What in the game works and what doesn't work? Can anything be said for how the game looks? What's your take on the mechanics of the game? Are there any comparisons to be drawn from other games in the genre? If there is a story, what did you think of the writing (a general guideline since I have no idea if it applies to Diablo III)? Are there any stand out traits that stood?

Essentially, I should, as a reader be able to form a detailed opinion of the game based on your review and I should be able to make a decision on whether or not I'd like the game as well...

P.S. I'm in no way a pro, so I may not be the best judge. Anyways have a look at some of my own reviews which may give an idea of what I'm referring to.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (my very first review)

Sleeping Dogs
