I had to walk 100 miles to school, butt naked in a blizzard. A real one, not these wizards-and-orcs Blizzards you get now a days. At school the teachers attached car batteries to our nipples and asked us to do difficult trigonometry problems in our heads, shocking us when we got it wrong. Grade 2 was even more difficult.

Ja damn those farm schools were brutal, but at least everyone that survived to see metric and passed it could read unlike today.
