Ah that sucks. At least the FNB fraud dept seems quite jacked. They should give you a refund once they do their investigation.

Ah ok. As if it'll make the licensing dept speed up. All the municipal offices are ridiculously slow. My friend is trying to get an unabridged marriage certificate from the dept of home affairs, apparently that takes three months. I would have thought they could just hit print, and give you a copy, but no...

It's not just government. It takes ABSA 21 days to turn around an audit certificate. All I need is the bank account balances and a list of securities.

It's not a South African thing, US embassy takes 14 days to issue a visa and you can wait up to 10 days before you even get an appointment. Your appointment is also not guaranteed. DMV application for a drivers licence takes 21 days. My US work permit has been 90 days and still counting.

I asked a client to use their online banking profile at fnb, it was done in 5 minutes. Some turnarounds are pathetic.
 
Alright so FNB have stated my card was most likely cloned, hence the charges in Mozambique. My card has now been cancelled and a new one is being shipped to me.

On the plus side, my Note 4 is arriving this week.
