Hagan, you just reminded me of when the wife decided to play a bit of Sims on my PC. About an hour after she started playing she yelled at me to come and explain something. She wanted to know why my sim was having intimate relations with all her sims' friends. Explaining to her that my sim is a man whore didn't go down well. She also accused me of sleeping with her real friends. Needless to say, she no longer plays The Sims

Third-world country problems. Girl accuses guy of sleeping with her friends due to actions of guy's virtual character in a videoagame...

I still play The Sims (3); have a wonderful family: husband, wife and two daughters.

Chicks are weird. I once had a thing where I woke up and my GF at the time had a dream where I did something bad...she requested that I apologize when I woke up. For something I never did.

Similar thing happened with my wife. She had a dream where I screwed up and then was angry at me for the rest of the day. So what I did was wait for a few months and then pretended to have had a dream where she did something bad. Then I was pretend-angry with her for the rest of the day. I've never had that problem again.

What do you do when:

One of your closest friends has her birthday on the same day (evening) as that of an end-year function of your work place.
Show loyalty to a friend, or loyalty to your work. I've already made my decision, just want your guys inputs.

Not able to go to the work function for say 2 hours and then go to the birthday afterwards?

Is the job temporary or permanent? If the job is permanent and you only just started, consider going to the year-end thing. It's not essential that you attend but you can do some serious networking (which is corporate speak for ass-kissing). It will probably be a drag and boring as hell but remember: if you drink make sure you don't over-indulge or the whole thing could turn out to be counter-productive.

If the job is only temporary, screw'em and go to your friend's b'day.

Or screw your friend, then go to the year end function and get rat faced
 
Sup guys how's the week been treating you so far. Finally going home tonight, and tomorrow it's back to gym my hands fell i can start again fingers still stiff and hurt but i can't take this laziness anymore

I'm it's permanent as I signed a contractual agreement yesterday. But, my job is more important, which is why I felt bad that I can't make it. But I told her that she and I should go somewhere alone a hangout, as to make up for not attending her 21st.

More more AT. Jy is nie alleen nie. Ek het ook hierdie week die besluit geneem om weer in die gym te kom. Dis nadat ek Maandag daarnatoe gesleep is deur 'n vriendin. En vandag kan ek skaars loop!! Ek is SUPER onfiks, maar moet seker erens weer begin.

An appropriate gift for her would suffice though. Would do 21-year-old Caucasian females want for a birthday gift?
Depends on the kind of girl - but hell, I don't know.
