Change of ADSL line ownership occurs when a current owner wants to sign over ownership of his/her telephone number to a new owner.
Telkom requires a letter of authorisation and an ID copy from each person.
The letter of authorisation must include a statement from the present owner authorising the change of ownership.
A letter accepting the change of ownership from the new owner must also be provided.
Both letters can be printed, but the letter of authorisation must include a signature from the present owner.
The process is the same for customers with lines with Telkom.
This process can take up to 30 days to complete

Die kantore waarheen ons skuif of basies die mense by wie ons die kanotre oorvat trek uit en ons wil dalk net hulle adsl lyn oorvat want om te wag vir telkom om a nuwe lyn tel allokeer etc al is die infrastruktuur daar gaan betken dat ons dalk nie betyds ons internet gaan he nie teen die tyd wat ons daar intrek.do you want to take over the line from the owner of the building?
