I've always been an XBox fan myself but I'm really enjoying the PS4 so far

The fact that the One isn't available in SA probably doesn't help. My one issue, updates take so fucking long. Its worse than it was on the PS3. Though my stone age broadband might be partially to blame.

yeah but luckily they're not so frequent. And I can download the updates when it suits me while it's on standby mode

I head they Nerfed the PS4's media play capabilities, that true?

Plugging my SKY box into the One and using voice commands to control it is a novelty but fucking awesome.

yeah it has no media player functionality, it's purely a gaming console. which is fine with me cause I use the bluray player for all my media needs

See that puts me off, if I where a single console guy. I use to use my PS3 to stream media from my pc but also Bluray, nextflix etc. Now the One fills that cap. If I bought say only a ps4 I would be disappointed.
