Yea I have seen that article, Im more concerned that they are looking for a sales manager and not a PA really. I am not a sales person. Plus the fact that they just cannot give me the location of their offices sounds like that I am working from home. . .

Beotek do you work for them by any chance

Sound kak sketchy!

They wanna kidnap you and hold you for ransom. We, here at TK, won't be able to afford it.

Good luck on future endeavours though :)

Morning people

Carless for the next week at least. Dad managed to burn out his clutch so he is using mums car and mum is using mine. . .

Then she goes to the shops last night and hit the electric gate - damage to my bumper is fortunately just scratches. The gate took 4 neighbours to fix. . . .

Morning all working this whole bloody weekend again so missing all the live rugby pvr will work overtime again this weekend. So what's the happening what have i missed, anything major?

Anyone have any experience with external dvd/blu ray drives for PC ?

Something like this ? http://rebeltech.co.za/blu-ray/2141-asus-pro-blu-ray-combo-6x-external-slim-black-usb20.html

Seems convenient that I wont have to add it to my PC, and it is portable, but want to know if they're any good.

Haven't worked with them, but AFAIK you just stick it in your USB port. It then functions like a normal DVD writer.
Won't a few ISOs on a USB stick be more practical?

When you get one, rather get a USB 3.0 Blu-Ray or a USB 2.0/e-Sata combo. The transfer rate of the Blu-Ray at full tilt is easily more than what USB2.0 can handle (however your buffers will take care of it for you) whereas USB 3.0 and e-SATA can easily sustain a 16x Blu-Ray transfer speed

Eish wayvz you drive a tank? poor gate :p
Net n Tazz :( Net scratches op die plastic bumper so is ok

Not for said company, but all I read was that you knew it was a medical based company in CT. =P
Hahaha they are actually based in jhb :P ITs the fact that they wont give me the details for the cape town office that scares me

Ah, that sucks Wyv. Hope its an easy fix.

Crusader - the clutch for dads car might take a couple of days = subaru isnt very efficient with repairs, my bumper Im not paying to get a few scratches out of the plastic bumper - this way I can now recognise my car from the front and back! Green marks on the back is my car! Cream marks on the bumper in front! ITS my car!

As for the gate, took us 20mins to realise we cant fix it on our own, got the neighbours, they lifted whilst I put the wheels back under the gate, then another 15mins to get the motor to reset ! What a fun relaxing evening

Good morning to the thread killers... I think it is about time that I also come and experience some thread killing!

I am not too amped to actually work today - maybe post a facebook and/or twitter posting for work but otherwise I'm just ... meh...

Welcome in the madhouse, OuBoet. I hope you've had all your shots in case Hagan and Tsar pop in later.

I had most of them, luckily I work in a children's home so I got access to all sorts of medication and I think even some ARV's
:p

Ha ha ha... you can.. luckily for me I'm so big (just fat actually) that if I got diagnosed with a flesh eating disease I would probably live for another 20 years!

I don't have any disc drives in my PC at the moment, so was going to get one, but if these USB external ones are any good I would rather just get one. As physcofish said I'd like to get a USB 3.0 one though.
